I will take a risk
Run to things that scare you for on the other side of fear is something amazing waiting to happen. Abram at the age of 75 was called by God “go and I will show” you a land. Abram had to leave his family, his comfort zone and with courage step into the unknown. Courage is an outward action opposite to an inward feeling. Maybe we have been thinking for some time that we must invite that guy that girl to church but we are nervous of being labelled or we are frightened that the friendship might become awkward. Follow the example of Abram and say I will take a risk, I won’t stay here, I will step out. I will go to the place that you are showing me. Invite someone to take a closer look at our risk taking God and his church.
