A better relationship with doubt

When you move in the direction of fear, fear increases.  We don’t need to be more confident, we need to have a better relationship with our doubt that God will be with us. I see no evidence that the confident day is coming. Tara Mohr says Yirah which is the Hebrew for fear mentioned 44 times in the Old Testament has three definitions

1. Feeling that overcome us when we are Inhabiting a larger space that is bigger than usual, which is exhilarating and terrifying at the same time,

2. Fear we feel we possess more energy than we normally have

3. The feeling we feel when we are in the presence of God.

We need to know that in the moment of fear, to savour it and move in it. Sit with and breathe through it. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ (who said don’t be afraid (don’t be stressed) for I am with you) and his church
