Regaining my sight
In the gospel of Luke Jesus interrupts his journey for a blind man who was crying out for mercy. (When we cry out for mercy will not Jesus also stop for us?) And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to him; and when he came near, he questioned him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” (May the blind man’s prayer be also our prayer, ‘Lord I want to regain my sight!’) Ask Jesus to help us to see who we might stop for and then invite to take a closer look at Christ (who helps all people to really see again) and his church.
