If you want to be missional God often asks us to do mission outside our comfort zone. It is how much fear we get done each day. If you don’t ask you don’t get. If you don’t ask it is an automatic no. My wife works for a Christian charity that raises money for its clients. She has been recently going into local retailers to ask for them to donate gifts for Christmas hampers. She told me that she does not relish the thought of doing this, but the more she does it, the easier it becomes. In fact her experience is that most of the shop owners she approaches are only too willing to help when asked. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
