Power Outage
What do you do when there is a power outage? I am currently in Auckland where there ha s been a massive fire which has resulted in 90000 homes being without electricity. We are learning to live without electricity. Candles are in big demand, we are going around to relatives who have electricity to have food cooked in ovens with power. At night we have extra blankets to keep us warm. We put on extra clothing to seal in the heat. We have no access to computers, television. But I would say we had adjusted to being without power very quickly. Is this not a parable for the church and the world. Are we a church living without connection to the power source?
