Invitation reveals….
It has been my experience that as I go into mission, more of the character of Christ is revealed. In John 1 is the story of the call of the disciples, where we see Jesus calling Andrew, Andrew inviting Simon. Then Jesus calls Philip and Philip invites Nathaniel. The person and character of Jesus is revealed with each invitation,
lamb of God,
teacher,
messiah,
He re-name us,
The one who Moses and the prophets wrote about
He knew Nathaniel intimately,
you will see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending on the son of man
Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and another aspect of Christ might well be revealed to you
