Invitation to rest
What an invitation! Jesus says Come to me and rest. In our world of constant activity we are given the choice of restlessness or restfulness. Restlessness is evidence of not yet being good enough or having done enough yet. It is an echo of the ancient Hebrew slaves harassed by the task masters who kept on reminding them of the inadequacy of their production. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ who offers rest and his church.
