Are you running from your fear?
Ahab told his wife Jezebel what Elijah had done and that he had killed the prophets. She sent a message to Elijah: “You killed my prophets. Now I’m going to kill you! Elijah was afraid when he got her message, and he ran. From one moment a triumph on Mount Carmel and the next scared to death. Are we also running from our fear? Perhaps we are more sophisticated about it today, perhaps we hide the fact that we are afraid even from ourselves. Too afraid to admit we are afraid. Fear less, today by admitting that we are afraid to invite and then tackle it by inviting someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
