Apple of your eye
Psalm 17 v 8 says “Keep me as the apple of your eye.” This is what the person of faith is able to say to God. When life is difficult we have God, when life is good we have God. When we are down we have God, when we are feeling joyful we have God who thinks we are the bees knees, the cats whiskers and the apple of God’s eye. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church and they might discover that they are also the apple of God’s eye.
