God gave the following advice to the prophet Samuel “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of … sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” In invitational mission don’t pray it was easier pray you were better, don’t pray for less problems pray for more skills. Don’t ask for it to change out there. Ask God to change you. God is doing something in us as well as through us. Through invitation look to your heart and ask God who to invite and then go and invite them to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
