The scandal of the Sower
In the parable of the sower we fail to appreciate how scandalised we would be if a farmer today would scatter seed in the manner described. What a waste of seed we might say. All that resource which is not being used in an efficient manner. But I think the farmer represents our gracious God who extravagantly prompts and nudges us to become who we are meant to be. Despite our lack of response God keeps on giving us opportunities by scattering the seed. Follow the example of God and extravagantly plant many invitations to help people to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
