Abdication
To abidicate is to relinquish formally a high office or responsibility. Go and make disciples is our high calling, unfortunately at times we step away from our high calling. But so did the children if Israel who were asked to take the promised land but abdicated their responsibility and so cancelled their own future. Let’s reclaim our high calling and start by inviting people to take a closer look at Christ and his church as part of going to make disciples.
