Relational Pain
One church leader felt the biggest sin nowadays in the eyes of a congregational member is that of suffering any relational pain. We will do anything to avoid it or escape it. Therefore when God prompts us to invite our friends, relatives or neighbours we decline because we don’t want to offend our friends and therefore cause ourselves pain. We need to understand how we are tempted in this way and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
