Yet in invitation

Yet is a very interesting word. Its meaning, “until now” expresses a sense of hope that this might be the present situation but there is more to come. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed.”  The ‘land Not Yet taken’, but it will be. Easter Sunday is preceded with Easter Saturday where all looks bad, yet the Resurrection! In invitation we need hope within our walk with God. Sometimes in mission it feels as we invite that we are in trouble with the response somebody give us, but we are not without hope, that God is working something out, beyond our present understanding. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and we will eventually take the land and extend the kingdom of God.
