The Fellowship of the Invite
The Fellowship of the Ring was formed in Rivendell with the purpose to destroy the One Ring, and the only way do so was to throw it into the Cracks of Doom. It was decided that nine walkers should contrast the nine riders of Sauron with Frodo as the Ring-bearer and Gandalf as the leader. The fellowship looked after each other in different ways on the mission. A church fellowship is the companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms. We all need each other, because on our mission to go and make disciples we may well need to walk alongside our fellow travelers in their pain. Form a fellowship of support and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
