Need more than faith
One congregational member in despair about declining numbers declared that we need more than faith. They seemed to have tried everything but the decline in their numbers continued. But had they really tried faith? Looking back this congregation like many others had never had to invite anyone, as a migrant church people coming into the country wanted fellowship with people like themselves and had just joined. This enabled them quickly to get established in the community, make good contacts and bring up their children with Christian values. Then the world changed. People stopped coming. At that point they need faith to know that when they go out and invite people that God will be with them despite their fears. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
