Glory Days

What do you do if you have a church that remembers the glory days, when they had 300 in the Sunday School, multiple services, and now 1 to 2 children are the only regulars in the Sunday school and when they are called out to the front, it provides a stunning visual of where the church is today. What do you do if most of the congregation doesn’t really know why they still come? What do you do as a church leader if you find that older members of the church have a early teens understanding of God? Where they remember the days of yore and are uncertain of the future? What do you do when they see a critical mass of people slipping away and the clock is ticking to eventual demise and death? Is it possible for those who have been in the faith for a long time to change and develop a new skill and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church?
