Daisy Chain Invitation
A daisy chain is a series of connected events, activities, or experiences, likened to a garland. How do we link invitations together? Some of us naturally link invitations together by asking our invited guests to the next meeting. But for others each link can provide a flutter of doubt. We wonder whether our invited guest will say no. Jesus seemed to take his disciples through a series of interconnected events in order to mentor, coach and disciple them. At each link, they often paused and Jesus helped them work out what they had learnt. Invite someone today and plan to invite them again to take a closer look at Christ and his church and see what you can learn as you link together the invitations.
