Uncertainty Toleration

Worrying about the outcome of an invitation is worse than a rejected invitation. This is because most of us cannot tolerate uncertainty. Therefore we will do anything to self-protect, or we are aimed at avoiding trouble, and embarrassment, hedging our bets, while we straddle the fence. Tolerance is the capacity to endure continued subjection to something without adverse reaction. In invitation we just don’t know the outcome until we invite. We need to work on our toleration of that fact by knowing that God works out all things for our good and as we practice toleration will begin to accept this uncertainty. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
