Gulp
One of my favourite cartoon characters is Scooby Doo and his companion Shaggy. They were always getting themselves into scary situations. Scooby is famous for a gulp! A gulp is an Indication of an involuntary fear reaction. In many cartoons Shaggy says Like, whatever you do, Scoob, don’t look down. In each episode there is always something to be overcome and a gulp, which is why those of us who like Scooby, do enjoy them so much. They manage to overcome the situation together. In mission there can be times when we inwardly gulp at what God is asking us to do. Ask God who you should invite to take a closer look at Christ and his church and if you gulp and look up and know that you have God as a companion.
