Stingy or lavish in Invitation
There are some passages in the Message Bible that are just priceless. Paul’s second letter to the church at Corinth in chapter 9 says the following “Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.” The principle for invitation is how many invites have you planted recently. Are you stingy or lavish with your invitations to people to take a closer look at Christ and his church?
