Invitational troubles lead to success
What does success look like in Christianity? I have always had an ambivalent relationship with the word success, but there is no doubt the concept of success is in the bible. The following verse sums up where I am presently. Psalm 34 says “The righteous person may have many troubles,but the Lord delivers him from them all.” For me success is no straight line, it is faithfully following the prompt of God and even thought that might mean troubles along the way, it is a learning path for developing your relationship with God. Look for the prompt of God today and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
