The result is God’s responsibility
Jehoshaphat one of the greatest kings of Judah prayed a remarkable prayer ending with “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you”. God’s reply through his prophet is instructive and I paraphrase “Good. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” In invitation I have found that the result of the invitation is also God’s. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and leave the result to God.
