The power of the wilderness in invitation
I have been recently saying that the worst thing that can happen in invitation is that we get a yes. God works more through rejection. God uses the no to shape us. Ask Moses about 40 years of rejection, ask David about being chased by Saul throughout the outback. Ask Paul about his various trial and tribulations. Ask Jesus about the wilderness. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and maybe God has a plan to shape you in the wilderness of rejection.
