Invitation – the vital connection
Our only task said Oswald Chambers is to maintain a vital connection with Jesus Christ and seeing that nothing inteferes with it. In my seminars I make the point that I am not into forced invitation. I am wanting us all to respond to the prompting of God in our lives. Jesus said it well, when he said in John 8 “I always do the things that please Him”. This vital connection extends through the person doing the inviting to the invited. It is an exciting process where both parties can get connected.
