Invitation – The tide will come in
Anyone who has spent much time near a beach making sandcastles will know about the daily phenomenon of the tides. Slowly the waves come closer and then and closer and then closer until your entire sand castle is washed away. The tide has come in. It is a bit like this when you invite someone to take a closer look at Christ. You can make an invitation and not notice anything different, then make another and another, but almost imperceptibly they are moving closer and closer into a relationship with God. Keep on inviting and as you do each invite has the potentiality of bringing someone closer to God.
