Schooling your Emotions in Invitation
Our emotions need to go to school. In his teaching Christ seemed to suggest this throughout his ministry, don’t be anxious, don’t be worried, don’t be afraid. Jesus set out the lessons as a teacher as he knew that was the battleground area for those following him. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. So in invitation we need to teach our emotions to behave. We need to drive the fear, anxiety and worry of inviting someone into a corner as Jesus taught. So invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and His church and school your emotions.
