Invitation – The waiting room
I was sat in the doctor’s surgery the other day in the waiting room. There were a number of other patients waiting for the doctor to invite them in for a consultation. Waiting involves a pause, an interval, or a delay. I believe the waiting room is a good visual, of people outside of a church setting. There are a number of people just waiting for an invitation. When we get disappointed with a negative response, when need to remember this picture. Jesus came to seek those waiting for the invitation, which is why he traveled far and wide from town to town. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and His church.
