The Fundamentals of Invitation
The fundamentals of Invitational mission has not changed since the day the church was born. Firstly the early disciples demonstrated a burning desire. They burnt their bridges behind. Some of them lost their homes, their jobs, their lives. But they were determined, despite many of them still learning about the WAY. The lesson from this is that knowledge on ice is nowhere near as good as ignorance on fire. The second fundamental was work ethic. They talked about the good news wherever they went. It spread like wildfire. The third fundamental was that they were coachable, they submitted to the teaching of the apostles. You have to have all three fundamentals, and these three basics lead to duplication. It is incredible what one person can do if they have the three fundamentals.
