Focus on Story in Invitation
We need to focus on story in becoming better inviter’s. We don’t pay enough attention to the importance of story in the church. Stories of people who overcome obstacles, who face their fears. We need to learn how to make our stories more compelling. I believe we should always carry two books with us, the book we are reading and the book we are writing. There is nothing better than carrying a bible with us. But for our stories we also need to carry a journal so that we can write down the stories and remember what God has been doing in our lives. As we tell compelling stories we can help people see a different vision for themselves. This will make our invitation more powerful.
