An Invitational Muscle
If you want to change anything in your life, just do the things that you don’t feel like doing. A voice in our brain says stop at all costs getting out of your comfort zone. This happens when we go to the gym for the first time or the first time in a long time. The next morning your body is aching and is saying never ever go to the gym again. This is also what happens when we are challenged to invite, our brain starts coming up with reasons why the person won’t want to be invited. If you push through those feelings and take action over time you will build a muscle to ignore the voice in your head. In invitation for most of us we are never going to feel like inviting. But if you build the muscle of taking action and inviting you will then operate from your desires instead of your fears.
