Gain Knowledge through Invitation
There is a saying “knowledge isn’t knowledge until it is applied”. For example there is a intriguing comment by Jesus in the gospel of John. Talking about the Pharisees Jesus said “For they loved human praise more than praise from God”. Those naughty Pharisees. We would never fall for human praise over God would we? In invitation I constantly hear people say that they are afraid someone might reject them if they invite them to something they love in God’s house. All of a sudden Jesus’ intriguing comment is not just aimed at the Pharisees but us. Knowledge isn’t knowledge until it is applied!
