Invitation and the brink
The brink is the point at which something is likely to begin. The Potential of the church is around its brink called the threshold This is where the door of the church is and I think there is something seriously wrong, for we are afraid to go and invite and those outside of the church setting are afraid to come. If nothing is done to combat the effects of threshold fear then it will impact the lives of many people-and of every generation to come. But the threshold is also a gateway to a new and abundant life for both parties. May our church threshold bring abundance rather than fear.
