The promise of the future
Some Christians look to the future with apprehension whilst others look to the future with anticipation. Why is there such a difference? Jesus said Go (into the future) and make disciples. I believe that those who look to the future with apprehension don’t have the future well designed. They make hesitant uncertain steps if any steps at all. But listen to the promise of Jesus “Lo I am with you always!” The person who looks to the future with anticipation knows the price of facing their fears is easy because the promise of Christ’s presence is clear. Anticipate the presence of God as you invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
